Everyone loves Beavertail Lighthouse for their wedding ceremony (and so do we!), but there are some lesser known spots that are perfect for a small wedding or elopement! Fort Wetherill is an old WW1 and WW2 abandoned fortress and state park that offers not only sweeping ocean views, but a maze of old shore defense emplacements loaded with years of very artistic graffiti! Overlooking Narragansett Bay and east Passage at one end of the fort, it's a short climb up a trail to find a hidden gem! The main fortress is also amazing! Just bring a few can of spray paint to commemorate your wedding!
